Mercedes 190E(1986) Sunroof

Hi there,

Electric sunroof not working. All fuses ok (by the way which one is for the sunroof motor?) When car is in idle and I press the sunroof button, the flow of electricity affects the idle speed just a little, which could mean the fuse is ok but that the motor is not working/jammed etc.

Does anyone know how to get to the electric motor please? or how to wind the sunroof back/forward in a manual way?

Please help with ideas and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Fuse No. 19 is for the sunroof.

The motor is located beside the radio antenna, behind the plastic trunk panel, so while pressing the sliding roof button, have someone listen in the area for the motor sound. The sunroof can be manually opened or closed by using the sparkplug socket on a plastic nut on the outside of the motor.
