This procedure works for a car sold in and equipped for Canada.
- Pop out the turn signal light unit. This part of the headlight is held in with 2 snaps, there are no bolts or screws. When looking down from the top on this unit, there is access for a tool like a heavy screwdriver to get some leverage, the unit pops out straight to the front and the cable can then be unplugged.
- The headlight unit is attached with 3 screws: 2 on the top which are easily accessible, and 1 under the turn signal unit. This is a larger screw, it becomes vixible after the turn signal has been removed, and it passes through the centre of an adjustment stud that can be screwed up or down with a 13mm socket. The adjustment stud is used to fit the headlight unit properly into the fender/grill opening.
- When all three screws have been removed and the adjustment stud losened, the headlight unit can be lifted out and the cable disconnected.
