Use of LPG on W123 230/280 engines

Has anyone had any experience with LPG conversions on either 230 or

280 engines ? Do either of the engines take kindly to LPG conversion ? What is the fuel consumption like ? Are there other issues to consider (where's the best place for the tanks ?

ive seen many m110's on LPG run very happily, though I believe its common to totally scrap the petrol side of it all together and use straight lpg. plenty of old 450's on it too. speak to your local gas installer, they will know plenty on them.
