Thinking about putting an alarm system in the Mini since it was broken into. Any suggestions on manufacturer?

The car's already prewired for it. $300 from Classic Mini, install it yourself, get it activated at your dealer - done.

How does it compare with the BMW alarm system?
They both have advantages and disadvantages. A Rottweiler, however, can be an active defense against intruders, obtaining DNA material on occasion (at least mine did).
Ahhhh.... now that's what I like to see; an endorsement from an actual user :)
