IPOD connecter in the uk??

Hi, not sure if this is the right group, but after getting a Ipod for xmas I was wondering if anyone in the UK has got the IPOD converter for the BMW mini stereo? I know its available in US but is it in the UK if not does anyone know of a supplier that I can order one.. and is it a universal fit?. Thanks J
