I am working on an 1995 MITSUBISHI eclipse gst 2.0l turbo. the problem is that there is no spark. hitting a wall. check all the connections and nothing.

any help would be welcomed.

Is your ECU working? Is the connector at the distributor well seated. Is the ECU powered, checked fuses?? Any "clicking" noises coming from the center console in the pass compartment, when trying to start the car?? Do you have a wiring diagram, volt meter??

If you have a way to pull the codes, pull them. There may be one or two in there. Normally a no spark condition is caused by either the cam or crank angle sensor failures. The ECU will not start the car if it has no signal. If it gets them intermittently, it will limp in.

In your year the cam angle sensor is on the drivers side near the timing belt cover. The 95 and 96 are backwards from all other years....
