Just because its a new battery or alternator does not always mean they are not the problem. First measure the battery voltage with the car off. Should be 13.7 or so. Then start it up, raise the idle a bit and measure the voltage again. If the alt is working you should get 14+ volts. If that all checks out unhook the negative battery terminal after you park it for the night. If it starts when you hook it up in the AM then you will know you have a loss occuring somewhere in the system. Check to be sure some little light isn't stuck on and draining the current. Check your washer pump motor. I had one of those stick on one time. This could be a tough one to chase down.

Yeah thats what i have to do i have to unhook the battery just so i can hook it up the next morning for my car to start the next day.

ill check that out in the morning but like i said yeah i have to unhook the battery at night and re hook it in the morning-- it sucks ass!!! thnx--Rhe

One way to test for current drain (if you don't have a meter) is to unplug the main fuses, then the smaller fuses, one at a time, to see if the battery still discharges. If you have a current meter (amp meter) you can place it in series with the negative of the battery, then remove the fuses and see which one stops the current drain, then you gotta figure out whats on that circuit and disconnect, then repair it. Remember though that the car will always be using some small amount of power to keep the memory in the ECU running, as well as an alarm system, if you have one.

I'd inspect all the following a) the main cables to the battery need to be tight. b) the harness from the alternator has to be tight. Look for burned or overheated connections near the + battery post. This will cause a reduced charging. c) an interior light eg in the trunk is always on = overnite dead battery. d) an aftermarket stereo has been improperly installed and is not turning off. e) the radiator or ac fan is stuck on. Common cause is the sensor switch at the bottom of the radiator. If the fan is always on, give the sensor switch a whack with a spanner. This will sometimes convince it to turn off. If not, get a new sensor switch from Mitsubishi.

Make sure you don't leave anything on. Probobly your car has a short-circuit somewhere. The best way to do it is go to radio Shock and buy a multimeter reader. Set it to DC voltage (20dc) place the positve pole to the red cable on battery and black on negative with the car on observe if the voltage goes up is supossed to read between 12 volts to 14 if you see the voltage is going down the alternator is bad. Now with the car turn off check if the voltage is going below 12volts then you have short-circuit take it to a car electrician or where they install music or alarm.
