After taking the alternator to a local engineer it became apparent that the problem of the alternator was a mechanical one.
The chariot alternator for the TD 2.0 Litre is fitted with an over- running clutch pulley.
Now my question to all you nice people, does anybody have had a problem like this ? And where can such pulleys be optained ?
