Stupid question Pt. 2

I need to get a head for my Laser, because it dropped a valve in the #3 cylynder... Every salvage yard I call, they ask the build date, because in the 92' model there was an engine change. I found a LOT of heads on dsmtrader.com and none of them mention this changeover. Will any g1 dsm head fit, or do I need to follow the instructions of salvage yards, and look for something from my build date? Never fear, I'm sure I'll have more stupid questions to follow this one for your reading pleasure...

the engine change the scrap mongers mention is marked by the switch from 6 to 7 bolts used to retain the flywheel (ergo 6 bolt motor...) the older 6 bolt motor uses bigger bolts to hold the head on. the newer 7 bolt head not only has smaller bolt holes but also much smaller ports. you should be able to find pics to clear all of this up at
