I'm in the middle of doing my MK2 Golf. I wouldn't recommend anyone has a go at spraying unless a) they've got plenty of time, b) a decent sized place to do it c) all the gear and d) someone who can spray to give them some clue as to how to go on e) can face it if they f*ck up at the end. I certainly wouldn't want to do my first painting on a 6 grand bora.

Why does it need spraying? I'm no expert on how household gloss works but surely it comes off with thinners? If not, it should be perfectly possible to hand sand it off and polish it back up.

You may have been misled there, the comment you replied to was Conor's. Klueless Ken replied in the sig, hence any sensible software would have hidden his reply.

Why do struggle to fit a set of LED jets? I'd have thought that something that simple would not be beyond even Klueless Ken.

Don't know about the washer jets. I do know however, he was safely able to fit a set of H.I.D Projectors that didn't upset anyone.

Not really. *His* software should have stripped off the sig, but if it didn't and he posts after it *yours* should show it.
