Air filters

Sep 08, 2003 2 Replies

Hi guys.

I'm after some advice on filters. I am wanting to get an induction kit. I had a K&N on a previous car butI am wanting to consider all options on this car I have now. I have a MG ZR 160. Now, the K&N's are at around £110 but Green and Pipercross are around £75. Any ideas which are better?

Cheers

Seeing as none of 'em with make any difference to performance on their own, you may as well go for one that looks and sounds good - IMHO, the Blitz "Sus" is the daddy (not cheap mind!).

Plus, it has enough flow to provide air for an engine of around 500bhp, so it's never gonna be the restrictive element in your little ZR's performance!

Makes no difference to be honest. I prefer K&N's cotton over Pipercross's foam, but it's upto you.
