all i can say is............

Finally got your end in ;-)

out first following the pace car muppet in the RS2000 wanted to get past me even on the openign lap with the pace car telling us what lines to take etc FFS!!!!! let him through and the next muppet and the next muppet and then i just drove the little twinkies heart out :) and if the session had been 10 minutes longer i'm sure i would have been past them couldn't catch them in the strights, but cornering and braking were their weak points and that is where i made up the time but with possibly only one lap to go i decided to do a banzai final corner, so went under bridge without lifting off, into the first left of priory at the same speed, then brakes and dropped to 2nd (@ about 50 mph) and turned in i knew it was a little understeery from previous laps but i figured i could hold it so when the understeer came on, i just kept the boot in and then, slowly, the back end came round. and round a bit more. until, WHOA!!!!!!!! oppositte lock time but the back end just kept coming round and round and round so i ended up spining it away and facing the wong way after a not so delicate pirrouete :) lucky there was nothing else on the track at the time and in a flurry of graas and spinning wheels i turned round again to have another go but would you believe it, the chequered flags came out just then and i trotted back into the pits all i can say is "it's GREAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!"

you been on as well then? all i can say is that silverstone is a great track to check out the handling of your car, it's got good straight bits for a bit of speed, but wit a close ratio box with about a 110 top end, it would certainly see a nice lap time unofficially, with a cam corder thing, i went round in about the 2 min 9 sec mark on my fastest laps (the last one was about 3 minutes thoughas i was pootling about looking for the pit lane entrance and i didn't want to go round again because they would have shouted at me)
