B5 passat

You didn't read JackHs thread last night then... *yawn*

I can only assume it's got higher spec seats than the B5 Passat in the stable here at Payne Towers. They really don't agree with me.

I've not spent significant amounts of time in a 406 mind you.

SE seats are fantastic. Sport seats are also good, but a bit tight for gentlemen of larger proportions.

Shame VAG don't fit the B6 Passat SE seats to the A4 SE.

That was honestly one of the reasons why SA53 KSX was an SE rather than a Sport. I mean, c'mon, a Passat "Sport".

KSX? I had a company van with KSX in the registration many moons ago. What are the chances of that happening, eh?

I think we should hillclimb an SE and a Sport next season just to see.

Achshully, I reckon it might be almost as quick as a red Dutton. With the front brakes jammed on. And an almost octogenarian at the wheel.

He think what Lord Doug meant was surprise, like "I'm surprised they're bothering to waste the fuel going up the hill in *THAT*" rather than "Holy s*it that Passat just killed the hill record!".

Is this driving it or being driven?

I don't find either remarkably comfortable or uncomfortable, but of the two, the Passat is more comfortable to drive in rather than ride in; the 406 is the other way around.

I've always put that down to the seat firmness.

The rear seat of Dad's B5.5 is remarkably uncomfortable. The seat dimensions are all screwed up. He didn't believe me for the longest time and thought it was my universal dislike of VAGs until he tried it.
