And apparently an enterprising gent in Swansea call Mark Cosovich is doing the same thing in the UK.

Bwahahahaha.

Surely that's a joke?

Over 10k Euros for a poverty 190E?

But, as it is considered a new car (according to them), what was the new price of a 190E when it was new? Allowing for standard of living/average wage etc increases what would be the equivalent now?

I don't really care - they're only giving a 12 month warranty and don't appear to offer an anti-corrosion warranty or paint warranty, either.

Coupled to the fact that they want 10x the going rate for a tidy 190E, I think I'll pass.

I can appreciate why someone would buy an SL from that scheme - but for

190Es, 280TEs etc., they're just taking the piss.

Be careful, SteveH will call you names.

I like those.

Don't like the price of the poverty 1.8 190E on the Merc site, though.

EVO's go for rediculous money, I'm not paying 40 grand for a baghdad taxi with a big engine OTT bodykit!
