That wasn't my point at all. My point was that by rejecting a car because it's wet in the photos mean you could actually be missing a total bargain.

Bad form and all that, but Carl, has it got an immobiliser with a certificate that'll satisfy an insurance company? (Though tbh it wouldn't be a massive issue, as I can't really ever see myself doing a theft claim on an £800 car anyway...)

Most likely not. I've done this a few times looking at cars on Ebay. Looked at some photos which looked amazing only to do a 300 mile round trip and find they're a bag of s**te.
