Well guys, we've finally almost finished the black 16v which means it's going up for sale. Got the last of the major oily bits sorted today, just needs a final tidy up and wash/polish and it'll be done.There was a bit of interested when we originally got it (all those months ago!), so thought I'd just let you know :) Bit of a low down of the car:1991 H reg phase 2 BX 16 Valve. Black with (badly) tinted rear windows. Runs well, goes well and has MoT till Oct 07 (although it's only done about 30 miles since last October). Quite a few new parts, and also a few parts tinkered with by us so it runs nicely.Paintwork is not too bad - quite a few stone chips on the front which is more noticeable due to the colour. Couple of spots of rust, absolutely nothing structural, and very minor TBH.Spec includes the full 160bhp 1.9 16v engine (aka the Mi16), e/w, pas, e/s/r, e/m (both sides), 6 gauge dash, rear sun blinds, front fogs, mint sport interior (named Monza for any experts out there), official Citroen headlamp protectors, official Citroen sunroof deflector (a rare item) and all 4 original mudflaps (a rarity). So all in all a well spec'd car for something from the early nineties, and with 160bhp and only weighing just over a tonne it dont go too bad either.So not mint, but pretty tidy i think. That wasn't my point at all. My point was that by rejecting a car because it's wet in the photos mean you could actually be missing a total bargain.

And the A31 down towards Winchester is a cracking drive (at least once you get past Farnham, anyway)....

Bad form and all that, but Carl, has it got an immobiliser with a certificate that'll satisfy an insurance company? (Though tbh it wouldn't be a massive issue, as I can't really ever see myself doing a theft claim on an £800 car anyway...)

Most likely not. I've done this a few times looking at cars on Ebay. Looked at some photos which looked amazing only to do a 300 mile round trip and find they're a bag of s**te.
