Depends on how much you can get all the bits from the scrappy for. Regulators, motors, door cards, loom, switches. Motors are usually pricey as that's the bit that fail when people come looking for spares.

Not yet, i have been pretty lazy with that, plus i have been getting used to the car - i would still like it tho - need to contact a few riends and find out whats going on... i might go for the central locking today.

more importantly! how do i hide the wires inside the doors? especially the back ones how can i get the wires into the back door without them being 'outside' (i.e inside the car - so people can see them) i am guessing when the backdoor is totally open you will be able to see the wire coming from inside the car? (if u see what i mean)

and how do i get the controller under the dash? can i just it inside the drivers door and hust get the 2 main wires to the battery?

Yes. It's pretty good and excellent value IMHO. However, fitting it ain't for the faint hearted or novice at this sort of thing.

It's also easy to interface it with a remote, or alarm that offers control over locking.

i have foam type stuff inside the panel which is glued on - ay idea what the glue type stuff is so i can glue it back on afterwards?

If you're wanting Central Locking, and Leccy Windows, and Power Steering, then just sell your Fester and buy another. Net cost of £0 upwards, depending on your choices, and you get a higher-spec model into the deal ! It's not worth the time and money messing about adding such features, when they come for free on any number of non-ghetto-spec models.
