Made 29mpg after the drive home, steady 85ish most of the way, so that's pretty good, I reckon it would've given 35 if I wasn't in shiny new toy mode heh. So that's MPG I can live with. Down to 27 average now after driving around pointlessly all night and booting it proper hard in straight lines - it was wet and I feared the corners hehe.

cool my BM gets about the same i can hit 35mpg on a long trip. get roughly
25-28mpg out of mind depending how heavy the right foot gets. trouble is once you've gone from 4 to 6 cylinders the only upgrade now is a V8 :)

Then you can work up to proper engines, V10,V12,W16 quad turbo. Ok the last one is a bit expensive at the moment. ;)

Was an 03 plate, would have got a phone pic but was too busy admiring the way the yellow light on the dash flashes as you're aquaplaning towards doom.
Impressed as to how far somebody managed to get up the embankment northbound too.
