I have just bought a H reg Escort Cabriolet and it needed a new roof, got a good leather one for a good price now need advice on how to fit it properly.
Any ideas?????

Leather?? More probably vinyl. I've fitted a rood to an MGB and it wasn't that hard but I haven't a clue to how you would go about it on an Escort of that age. I'd look for a bit of help from someone who has done it before if you can't find someone then try a local car trimming place (preferably a small one) and they will help you do it over a day for not too much.
Does the Escort Haynes manual cover the cabrio models? Should give you a good start if it does.
Pay someone. It'll save you having to buy another because you stretched it or put a knife through it in anger.
