Ever figures you bought the wrong 4x4?

Note the clouds of dust from the hummer as the guy driving it thrashed around and compare to the calm measured approach from the drivers of the others. It's got to be the same principle as driving in snow surely.

Yup. Stupid overweight truck, and maybe stupid overweight driver to?

Hummers are hugely over rated, however the one trying to climb the hill was more down to driver rather then vehicle incompetence.

And just how the hell is a 4x4 spinning one wheel? No diff lock? Would explain why the army ones spend so much time stuck in mud/sand. Well that and the fact that they weigh 4 sodding tons.

You don't buy a Hummer to off-road, you buy one to take the kids to school. Humvees on the other hand...

They tried selling them here and they flopped big time. They cost double what a Nissan Patrol or a Toyota Landcruiser cost and can't fit down narrow tracks. And in soft sand they just sink.
