Nah vamp it costs me no more or less to host less webspace, hence why I do it in 500mb blocks.

if you want cheap small webhosting then you cant go wrong for 30 quid a year that theo posted, just dont get hit on the bandwidth issue, 1 gig aint alot, I upload more than that a month normally :) you go pasting movies and stuff around the net, 1 gig will last 5 mins

£30 a month for one comparable to Ronny's 60quid a year. Think I know which one I'd have, Oh wait I already have ;-)

how do you make any money?

For Ronny the server is paid for. Any cash coming in is beer money. He's renting out spare space that would otherwise go to waste, just like farmers turning unused sheds and barns into workshops for hire.

Yup , i dont do it to make money I work full time, I do it because I use the server for myself, and like Carl say's if I can use some extra space up, and maybe get some of what it costs me per year then everyones a winner, most of the sites are people from here anyway I host :)

But with Ronny we pay, about $10 per month, get 5 times the space, 2 1/2 times the transfer limit, and 5 SQL's, and a load of mail thingies, and some other stuff i'll never used but its nice to have :)

I'm not saying its dirt cheap, but it is reliable, and very versatile, you can find cheaper if you look around, but everyone who has my webspace also has my MSN, and im available also 24hours a day lol
