Heh. This is me:

How old is that picture ? :)
Taken last week, knowing RichardK ;-)

Richard
Heh, that's about the only time I willingly have my photo taken :)
Dont forget the Rover, Volvo and now MR2 which have also been abused!!!
What do you actually do with them things? (As in you personally mechanic, driver, tea maker?)
We'd struggle to get the gearbox in then!
See my sig! Each car has a crew chief and two 'proper' mechanics so for general tinkering and setting the car up they tend to deal with it. TBH the car arrives at the track almost set up as the driver/owner has some really good facilities, so there is little to do other than fine tuning which the lads do. My main job when the car is not on the track is making sure all the radio gear is working properly.
If something out of the ordinary happens then I'll muck in too, e.g. when we blew an engine last season we swapped it between races. I stripped the carbs off the bad donk, and fitted them to the replacement one while the other guys dropped it in, that sort of thing.
Next race BTW is the first Sunday in June, at Rockingham (plug)...
lies tbh at least 2003/4 :)
heehee what a little engine.
Yep. Deliberately so, so that it's a) affordable(ish) and b) keeps the field close. It's still putting out 230bhp though.
I should know, I was there!
Did you notice the digital watch. It's nearly impossible to find those buggers now, except on eBay for mad prices. Carboot sales are fun when you know what you're looking for...
(Today: 1979 Sharp MZ80K. PSU is fubar, but I've checked it with a kludged one and it's all functional.)
Richard
Wot do you reckon I look like?
Apparently >Ahh mains power, I shall continue...
