Volvo C30 2.0D SE - £19295

Surely that's a mistake? - it's only a small to medium 3 door hatch with pathetic interior space.

I hate fugging Volvos with a vengance. Mind you, the manager of our local builder's merchant in Italy is selling a Volvo something or other, wioth a

2.9 engine and LPG. It's very cheap, and in spotless condition. I considered it for oooooh 0.3ms.

There's also an amusing Y-reg Volvo ambulance for sale at Merthyr Mpotor Auctions that tempted me. It's got all the ambulance stuff in it still. I reckon it would make a great van.

Competitive with the 120d or Audi A3. Personally I'd go for the BMW for the rear drive, but then Volvo also do a T5 and a D5 version, for more money.

Cars aren't cheap you know, apart from french crap and nearly new italian depreciation monsters.

I drive past their site several times a week. I wouldn't touch anything in there with yours.

The point is that Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Volvo are all massively taking the piss charging that kind of cash for a Focus sized hatch.

They're firmly in large family car territory at those prices.

Or just get the Focus ST for the same money heh.

Well, the split bumper is visible even on the tiny autotrader photo. It still looks like a laugh though, next best thing to a hearse.

The Volvo is a nice car, like a Golf but built properly on a decent chassis.
