I deserve a mocking...

And I think that's a bit of a bargain and would make a great cheap track toy. Imagine the fun of embarassing some greater machinary in something that gay...

You *really* wouldn't want to be the one paying for a cambelt change on that!

Hehe ever the voice of fun ;-) True, but don't they have 9 year 100k intervals or something mad?

What's that behind the "Alloy passenger foot rest"? And is that in a place such that there's only space for children there?

cheers, clive

Appears to be the stereo relocated there. I just thought it looked quite tidy for the amount of cash and work in it.

Erm, originally they did.

I think it has been revised down to something a tad more realistic these days.

Of course, the other day Bob pointed out how cheap Zetec engines were 2nd hand heh, so it's probably cheaper just to run it till it breaks, then get a new one and swap them over, leaving all the original ECU and stuff in.

No matter what you do - that engine is coming out ;-)

Too true, but it would be more DIYable I reckon heh :-) I know a tame motorsport mechanic now for such tasks ;) Just costs me beer vouchers :-p

That will be 1 wild party!

I heard it's not going in the car.

Dunno about the Silvertop, but the Blacktop is still 100k interval, they very rarely snap even then. Replacement engine would only be £80 to £200 in any event :)

Ok, what was it? The Ad has been withdrawn now... :-( MkII/capri with a zetec lump?

Ah. Er. My first instinct was to mock, but that would actually be pretty good fun, so have a 'heh' instead..

It was 2.0 Zetec, stripped, buckets etc. £2k.

Yeah, ok, that sounds like a recipe for fun. Perhaps of the 'wheels up-wheels down-wheels up-wheels down...' variety, but fun nonetheless.

The wheels were 16" Focus Grp N wheels - they were nice too :D

Cheaper than another engine rebuild on the shed he's got.
