I solved my car dilemmas! (Long)

There are lots of posts on the tdiclub foru, vwaudi forum, TT forum and Briskoda forum regarding issues - mainly with the 'mechatronic' unit. Which I assume is similar to the Sillyspeed's acutator issues.

Aye me too, two of the ex-Clio owners on ClioSport, who are now a MkV GTI ed30 owner, and a 07 Audi S3 owner mentioned issues on their respective forums.

Chris Bartram gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying:

Nor EGS.

FFS, Citroen were doing automated manual boxes - reliably - fifty years ago.

Like a Sillyspeed, but made by PSA. Probably not the most sensible idea in the world ;-)

See that link in the post you replied to and quoted...?

This one...

Tried clicking it?

Don't know about currently, but the first version fitted to the MK2 Octavia turbo models popped on a very early basis. About 6months into the life of a new car.

Look, I'm not here to 'click links'....

*cough*

Ok I get it now...

*shuffles away*

I don't think it's just your posts, it's everyone's ;)...

Oh. I suppose I notice the trend more with my own posts cos they're the ones I keep an eye on more heh.

I can't see why they'd be particularly bad. I mean, it's not as if they didn't have a similar thing in the quattro rally cars 20 years ago...
