Wrong. It matters alot. IE pre-SP2 would automagically install anything any website told it to without user intervention or even a notice.

Bullshit.

Virus checker software is not perfect - but it is better than nothing. Personally I have a hardware firewall - which protect me against a lot of windows sploits, and nav (which is not that hot - but better than nothing)

IMHO Most people get a virus when they do not run a firewall and/or virus checker and get hit by something scanning ips or mailing out to everywhere....

Clever guy. I've thought about using others too, did have adaware, and Bullet proof Spyware/adware detector isntalled, but when I isntalled Spybot, it complained that Bullet proof was using an unlicensed copy of the Spybot DB and would I like to uninstall it, which I did.

Also Spybot picked up stuff that Bullet proof didn't seem to careabout too.
