Hehe, cracking that innit ?
The yanks have no regulations concerning aftermarket controls, they even have total control joysticks where it takes 1/2 inch movement to go from full accel to full brake !
The LHD conversion is for posties, they can deliver mail to the post boxes on sticks without leaving the vehicle, a lot just sit in the passenger seat reaching over for the wheel/pedals !
I don't fancy sitting in the passenger seat if it's in an accident, the "conversion" would take your kneecaps off quite well :)
Although, WTF don't they import some proper RHD cars from over here ? surely makes more sense...

I used to live in the States and from what I remember the posties used to use RHD 2WD Postman Pat type Jeeps.

From what I've heard a lot of the rural posties need to provide their own transport, might be a recent thing.
