Momo steering wheels

Alright chaps

Who knows about Momo steering wheels? Some sporty models have them as standard, but are they the same as the Momo wheels you buy off the shelf in terms of bolt patterns? Or are they specifically made to fit the cars steering column?

Cheers

The only experience I have of car manufacturer sold Momo wheels is for Saabs and in their case they are standard but rebadged and require an adapter/boss to connect to the column

cheers

I think the wheel is the same, but the hib is machined to fit the Column of each vehicle/switchgear

The Saab 9000 and 900 Carlssons had Momo wheels from the factory. Same wheel but the hub was different.

You mean standard Momo?

So if I get a Momo boss for my Volvo would the Saab Carlsson Momo wheels fit for example?

Should do I think. I know when Saab club members fitted 9000 Carlsson Momos to their 900's. the 900 bosses were hard to find, but there was another car boss that fitted OK, but didn't work the self cancellers. So they used a standard boss for I think some ford, that had the same spline pattern.

Well, got me an Astrali boss and Momo wheel from an Uno Turbo which I liked. Not sure whether it will fit or not, but we shall see! :)

Heh. if I can be arsed I'll stick it back on ebay tomorrow. Shame because I liked the wheel, and it was even colour coded to my car!

Decided to stop being tight and have bought a new Mountney wheel and boss for £45 inc p&p. Which isn't too bad.
