Arrived in the post today. The DS version is decent, but I can see me playing this on the Wii for some time to come...

Your arms will start hurting after about half an hour of play, as the wheel is unsupported.
Huge fun, though.
Of all the consoles I've owned, the Wii is the only one I go back to time after time. (Had it since April 2008)
My previous console is an old PS2, I used that for GT4 and mainly the Guitar Hero games. I'm getting GH World Tour full band kit for the Wii when I get paid though, and I bought a used copy of NFS Carbon from eBay so I might retire the PS2 next week...
I love it. Got it and a spare wheel for Chrimbo so we can multi player. Did you read the instructions for doing tricks when going over jumps for speed boosts.
Lol no, I haven't read anything from the instructions! TBH I played through the first three 50cc cups and then spent the rest of the evening playing online.
It's not all that IMHO, having compared it to Mario Kart on the N64, never mind the Gamecube.
Xbox 360 for me... the Call of Duty series on this is awesome, for one thing.
Grid is pretty damn good in terms of how you can write the cars off as well.
Same here. I'm addicted to Wii Tennis at the moment. F*ck knows why, I've never played real tennis in my life. I'll get a Wii fit this weekend if I can find one locally.
On a similar note, I've still got an original X-box with a 20GB disk and a few games. Does anyone actually buy these s/h anymore or is it a freecycle job?
chip it and turn it into a media centre with XBMC.
Damnit, mine had to go back because it was faulty - just waiting for a new one to turn up. I've got Wii Fit and Rayman waiting by the TV and I'm dieing to give them a go grrrrrrrrrrrrr
And it's my birthday next week and I'm hopefully getting an Xbox360 so I'll be majorly geeking it up over the next few months :)
i got the xbox 360 as i like the online stuff with it and i got a wii for when a few mates come over. i got a set of these

best gun attachment out there IMO nice chunky feel and aim once you calibrate it is spot on too. use it to play house of the dead 2 and 3 and ghost squad. might get resident evil the umbrella chronicles at some point too
Heh, I'm gonna buy Guitar Hero World Tour, the full band version when I get paid next week. Dunno when I'll get chance to play it... I know Freddie will like the drums though :)
You can softmod it if you're happy taking a PC-like thing apart - no need for a chip or any specific game CD.
I have two, never use them for games, only as media centres. They are excellent.
They don't do HD or recording, that's the only drawbacks.
I run XBMC on my PCs. Better than windows media center for playing downloaded stuff!
I pre-ordered for the extra free 'bass' guitar - which is actually just the wired Guitar Hero 2 guitar, the white like, angular one. But I just have that sat aside and use the Wireless Les Paul from GH3 so we have 2 wireless guitars for lead and bass, along with the drum kit and the microphone. Small tip though, once you have the guitar and drums connected, if you wanna use the mic just plugging it into the USB doesn't get it recognised, and obviously it's got no buttons etc on it. Connect a pad as player 3 and just plug the mic into the USB, then the mic works fine as player 3 assuming you use the pad to set 3 up as the singer. You might wanna ramp the volume up for the mic as well as we found it to be pretty quiet.
How much do you want for it ?
