Any dodgy bastids here from Nottingham?
I may be there this saturday. Picking my brother up from uni.
i'm originally from mansfield/nottingham. Only live just up the road now.

He probably wants you to pick up some Lotus Carlton bits and/or some jazzy Renault Williams gubbins that he's just won on ebay.

No and no :) Theres a company there makin my carbon bonnet. They've been delaying and delaying but now the phone appears to be disconnected and i'm getting no reply to mails.
If someone was passing they could see if they're open/break windows/ask where the hell my bonnet is
company details??
Which car is tghe bonnet for. Theres plenty of (reputable) carbon fabricators round here ;o)
Try pro-comp. excellent quality carbon kit.

Drop me a mail. chet@ domain in sig
For the 19, no-one does them so it was a custom job.
Nice to know but i've already paid for this one cos it was a one off :(

You pay by credit card? If so you can claim your money back through the card company if they've gone bust.

Bank transfer :(
delaying and delaying but
the hell my bonnet
i find the hands on approach on sending the boys round very effective :)
i'd like a carbon engine lid for my MR2 but i lost my job before i could throw the cash aways on one, found a place in the US that make a almost complete carbon kit for the MKII MR2 which includes, headlight covers, bonnet, engine lid, boot and spoiler and in 2 weight forms, street and racing, racing being a bit more fragile.
i'd like a carbon engine lid as the turbo engline lid weighs a tonne! compared to the N/A MR2 lid, plus black and carbon look cool :)

Will it make it a lot lighter or is it for looks this carbon thing?
If it makes things lighter, I wouldn't want to put a carbon bonnet on an MR2 Turbo - a recipe for Lambo Miura style front-end sketchiness!
it wont make *that* much of a difference TBH. saves a few kilo's thats about it. not enough to destroy the handling of your average car.
Now I see.
see what exactly?
He see's all, because he is mystic meg in drag lol :P
Never EVER pay for expensive things, with anything other than a Credit Card. Doubly so if the seller is in a different country !
Because the card issuers are 50% liable for the purchase, you get all sorts of free extra rights. And if you've got a decent card, other things like a free 3-month pricematch, and an extra year of warranty, etc. come too.
Yes thats usful to him now :)
I bet you've just made him cry into his coffee.
Yes - that was the idea !
:D
Why you love Novas, fibreglass, and blue neons ;).
