Spybot search and destroy is pretty good.

Spybot as others have suggested is free.
Pestpatrol isn't, but can be obtained from the usual sources if that is how you fancy going with it.
And it is shit hot and works.
Once you've installed all the spyware removers, install WinPatrol to stop it (or any other dodginess) coming back.
Downloaded onto the work pc and it found lots, hopefully it'll sort the home one. Cheers
Any paid ones i've used before that i haven't paid for usually don't let me update which is a bit of a bugger
Pestpatrol does, and it is shit hot.
any other dodginess? you mean it can block chet from his own machine? :)
I use a combination of Adaware and Spybot, and my own tendancy to be very weary :) I seem to have been OK so far :)
I use a Mac.
Spybot seems to have done wonders for this now
I don't have to use a Mac.
:)
And you don't have to spend ages searching around for stylish mittens (to cope with Mac-related-hand-webbage)
I would recommend running AdAware anyway, it nearly always picks up extra crap.
Then use Mozilla Firefox to stop it happening again!
