I thought you meant the 8v nova gsi lump. The cav 16v gsi lump does put out more power but it's also heavier so the handling gets worse.

Heavier engine in the front - uprate the springs. Not a problem, usually, unless the engine is seriously prescott.

Only really an issue if the handling is up to much in the first place, and whilst I admit that there is nothing inherently /bad/ about the Nova per se, it's not like it would spoil a fine tuned machine or anything.
Plus of course, for 13 grand difference, I'm sure the slight difference could be lived with :)
