Even Halfords do this sort of thing!!! Just go ask for an Under dash mounting kit.

TRH

Yep. Any car accessories (max power user type shops) that do any audio equipment will have that sort of thing, doesn't even need to be a specialist shop.

Normally balck, or even brown plastic, with a loverly texture finish. But as you are glovebox mounting it, not a problem.

So Chet, you going for an indash screen for a CarPC project then?

I'll have a gander when i'm out and about then, doubt i'll come across a halfords ;) I've never seen anythin like it so didn't know if they were made

I've enough trouble keepin me own PC and laptop runnin without more trouble!

I'm goin to mount my Blitz SBC boost controller and power meter in the radio space and run the stereo from a remote. Its the ideal spot for them :)

makes sense for both. Stereo is hidden, and you can see the blitz controller.

Just hop no-one nicks your Blitz thinking it is a classy funky stereo.

The 19's stereo slot is nice and high with a 3/4" recess too.

Aye, considerin the blitz things cost near 3 times more and it wasn't a cheap stereo!

Think i've got a mount now, i got Hanna (SWMBOETSLIADC, work that one out :)) to ring her local halfords and they say they have one there. Although considerin what i've heard about halfords its probably a 96 escort adapter plate :/
