Shamelessly nicked.....

I had a comodore 64, a dragon 32, and a Spectrum 48k.

at School, we had Spectrums, a ZX81 and a whole bunch of BBC Micros, and an Acorn electron, and in an old shed, the first computer the school bought, an Ohio Scientific with 2k ram, a punch paper tape reader/punch and an Amber screen it took up most of the room in the shed, with just enough room for a small desk for the monitor/keyboard and a one other person looking over your shoulder reading lines of code out.

Are we listing old computers? Oh goody.

Rather than list what I have, I'll just say "I used to collect computers"

Basically, I've had everything sold in the UK at one point or another - Jupiter ACE, SAM Coupe, Enterprise 128... right now I have prototype Acorns and stuff.

Favourites were the Enterprise 128, the Apple IIgs, the BeBox, NeXT, and my present Mac G5 system. Current inmates include:

Pongs from Radofin, Intellivision, and 'unknown', Dreamcast, Atari XE VGS and 800, Commodore 64, STE, Amiga 500 and 600, Acorn BBC B through Master 512 and most Archies plus RiscPC, Macs, Newton, eMate, 2100... hell. I lost count.

On ebay right now, because I didn't get enough for my Sera and I've got to devote time to one thing or another - and music wins - I've listed four rarities.

BBC Master Domesday system in need of alignment on the VP415 (may be another problem, but it's mostly working). If anyone remembers the Domesday system they'll know what a brilliant concept it was. BBC Master 512 (PC compatible BBC Master) with mouse etc. BBC Master Turbo (4Mhz Master) with C language and Elite and a BBC B+ 128K.

I'll be listing the Atari 800, C64 and Pongs soon.

Just had a look around my loft, and found a Commodore 16 which my darling wife bought me as a 'Crimbo pres' many years ago, never used because of lack of software, dk'tronics keyboard upgrade housing a ZX 81, a BBC computer complete with microvic cub monitor and tape drives, a spectrum plus and a box full of assorted games... and that's not counting the two 1950s black-and-white projection TV optical units, complete with scan coils and 2" tubes!

Do I detect an eBay session coming on?

That was only scratching the surface! (it's a large loft) I've never really got involved with e-Bay, but from what others tell me it may well be worth investigating. Especially as the loft was was one of those unfinished projects, originally intended to become the den/computer room which now occupies a spare bedroom, so needless to say I've been getting grief from 'er downstairs for several years.
