Aargh, bloody Carltons

My 2.6 Calrton just failed another MOT, this time on corrosion of OSF chassis leg (yes - that old chestnut).

It's been out of action for about 5 weeks, having failed the 1st MOT, having some work done, being told that it would fail before the next MOT started, having some more work and now failing this morning.

So far the cost apart from £80 in 2 MOTs has been £10 for a scrap panel from Mr Scrap so I'm not that bothered. My mate just got a welder and we've discovered that hes actually quite good at it.

It takes about the same time to walk to work as it does to drive and is a lot less expensive, but I've got next week off work and was hoping to be able to go places in leather upholstered style godammit.

Hope you are all well. Warmest regards, Douglas
