And this is the wee beastie.
We need more photos.
That any better?
You're not getting any more, ffs, I'm only listing it because it's free listing day, ffs.
That's better.
If I had the money to hand I would have it now, whats it worth? about 1500?
Donkeylash ?!!?

something like that, yeah. They're advertised for silly money in the 'Trader, but I think it's an easy £1500.

You know when you get fed up trying to think of a good name for eBay and you try something silly...
well, that was my something silly. I didn't realise changing id's is such a pain.

The Merc has joined it, might as well take advantage of Ebay for once.
I like your style Pete. You can't beat a bit of humour when listing on evilbay. If I were looking to buy a car, I would buy just because of the writing style of the seller. I'm irrational like that me.
"The little light to tell you a bulb has blown comes on I replaced half the bulbs on the car trying to make the bloody light go out. It didn't. All the bulbs I replaced were ok, which didn't make me feel any better. I should have just taken the bulb out of the "bulb blown" light, now I think about it.
The little light to tell you you've left the parking brake on doesn't work."
Would statement two have any bearing on statement one ? :)

Heh, I don't think so. The parking brake light is like a handbrake one, and looking through the wiring diagram, they're not linked.
I'm buggered if I'm going to start changing bloody bulbs again.
That would be worth at least Aus $15k here. My wife has always wanted one. If only you were in Aussie.

My Uncle and Aunt from Oz are coming over here in about a month or so. And my sister's coming over in October. I'll ask all of them if one of them would fancy driving it back via Asia.

What's that tho, about =A3100 ? :)

ain't that the truth.
I've spent some bloody money on pics and a reserve now. This could end up costing me, oh, £20 ish.
so some bugger better buy one of my cars, or there'll be hell to pay!!
That's the theory. I've had things on ebay with lots of watchers, and lived in the hope of a last-minute flurry of bidding which has failed to materialise on more than one occasion. Half the time people put something on their watch list either out of curiosity, or simply because they've got something similar to sell and they want to test the water.
Nah, 10 days is the best. Start on a Thursday night, around 9:30pm to run for 10 days. Then it'll finish just after Top Gear's finished, which is when a lot of car nethead nutters are online. It'll also be online over two whole weekends, which always helps.

If somethings got over 7 days left - i don't even consider it, i just can't be arsed to wait that long :). Although, i've never bought/considering buying a car on ebay.
Thing is, generally if something's got more than about 2-3 hours left I'm not interested - I like window shopping on eBay for last minute bargains, and the weekend's a good time to do it as a lot more auctions finish at the weekend than mid-week.
But if there's something on there with 7 days or more to go that's decent and unique enough to warrant my attention, then it's probably something I've searched for, and it'll probably get popped onto my watch list. Then I get a handy reminder telling me when it's nearly done.
