I use Avant tabbed browser (skins - freeware). It blocks out ads, pop-ups, etc. It pretty much comes set up but you can easily add other ad sites to the block list or the exceptions list. It also has a built in RSS/XML reader and will let you define groups of pages which can be opened simultaneously; each in a separate tab.
