Could be the massive pressure, any TDi engine that fails to detonate the fuel doesn't run. ;) After all detonation is ignition without a spark. (If you follow Dave Walker's definition)

Seat fitting hasn't changed much, at least in the slower end of motorsport.
I think it would be best to arrange a meet to sort things out then dont you? Cant find any contact details for you on the net, so you will have to suggest a time and place.
