No, it has a 1.9 8v XU in slightly lower tune than a 1.9 205 GTi. ~125bhp IIRC.

And it looks a bit naff in the flesh to be honest (I was at the unveiling).
I think it's hideous and did you see it pitching and diving as it was going along? If I weren't sick form looking at it I'm sure I'd be sick from driving it.
