This sounds great value for money

Just got this via email. Some companies intranet has this for sale:

Renault Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique, 51 - plate, silver, full carzone bodykit, smoothed boot, de-locked, lowered 60mm, 17" oxigin one alloys, lexus rear lights, twin exhaust, underbody neons in blue, clifford G4 alarm with remote engine start, as featured in FAST CAR's

200th Edition, real head turner, £10,000 ono, call Dave on XXXXXXXXX

No pics yet, have to see if I can get any.

Bargain or what?

Yeah and if you're lucky, at the lights, you might be able to out-accelerate a VW camper van ;)

He He yeah.

Give 51 plates are 2 years old then I would imagine you could pick up a proper fast clio (172) for that money (if not less).

No idea what a 2 year old 172 is worth currently but I would guess at less than 10k.

Although the advert does state ono so maybe he would take 2k for it?

I'm being sarcastic BTW - don't think it comes though quite well in plain text.

I borrowed my uncle's once - it took about 20 minutes to get the damn thing to 45, so there was no way I was slowing down for corners/roundabouts /coffin dodgers in micras/anyone else too stupid to notice a bright orange brick hammering towards them. Wouldn't mind trying one of the ones with a porsche turbo lump stuffed in there - probably get to 60+ on a decent stretch of motorway :-)
