69 new leaf spring sag

Aug 16, 2004 1 Replies

last year i installed Performance Suspention Technology leafs on my 69 coupe. at the time i noticed that the rear did sit slightly lower. i figured, the heck with it, since it wasnt sucha big change, but now the left rear corner of the car is even lower, bout 1/2 inch lower than the right rear. PST sent me a phone number and said they might look at some pictures. they have a lifetime warranty. but im assuming they wont give me new springs over a 1/2 inch difference or that i would want them if they did, if they are going to be the same.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has heard or experienced this problem with leaf springs or dealt with PST on this?

Thanks,

No experiance with said springs or PST, however the rear on my RamCharger was sagging REALLY badly. A Rancho add-a-leaf kit set me back about 70 bux, plus new u-bolts and other small items. Raised the rear about 2 and 1/2 inches.

I'm sure Rancho offers something for Your car, as I'm sure you don't want a 2 and 1/2" lift.
