I wonder why they are taking it to the extreme in testing the Mustangs in Sweden ...
The Mustang should be a rare car ... in the sense only available in America .... :-P

Maybe. But Ford has always provided the Mustang to other countries off and on. This platform is such a step forward that it wouldn't surprise me if they market it world-wide. Also, Sweden is home to one of the FoMoCo engineering firms: Volvo. Who better to evaluate the vehicle in that climate :)?

well, we're still dealing with a rear-wheel drive high powered car. Those facts are not favorable in the snow/ice. Traction control will help somewhat, but it won't do a thing in a turn. The current mustang has anti lock brakes and traction control.

And if ever comes the day (again) that ford tries to make a FWD Mustang (remember the "mazdang" in 89?) then you'll kill the car off.......I wish all the FWD sports cars would go back to RWD......yeah, I know they get better traction in the snow, but realistically, how often do you have snow on the ground, compared to the days you don't? If you buy a sports/muscle car, you want those back tires screaming, not the front......LOL, just looks funny

Anyone have any theories as to why they are still bothering with the leopard-print "camouflage"?

I remember the scene from the original "Robocop" where Murphy burns rubber in his Taurus and smokes the front tires. God that looked funny!

Maybe, but a few of the mules came through Albuquerque a couple of months ago and one was still camo'd. It's one of the first mules and I think they just don't bother repaint them.

It's the same here in Dearborn, lots of those spotted Mustangs around - although the percentage of regular ones is increasing.
I kind of like the spots.

They don't bother taking that off. These cars probably get scrapped anyways.
