And when it debuted, I was just a wee little lad of eleven years still riding a bike thinking I'll graduate to one of those someday. Until then, best I could do was mount elongated balloons on both front and rear bicycle fender supports doing my cheap, yet somewhat innovated interpretation of a V-8....

interesting story about the 1st mustang made: it was sent to a dealership and then mistakenly sold to a customer when it was supposed to be for display only. Ford tried for a year to get the customer to sell it back, and eventually they talked him into trading it for a mustang convertible.

The car is now in the Ford museum

It was in Newfoundland actually and Job 1 was the convertible. Ford traded it for the

1,000,000th Mustang. It's whereabouts are unknown today though I heard rumours it was located in a field in Alberta recently.... hmmmm

Went to a Birthday party today at a local Mustang Shop. They had a 64 1/2 with a build date of today. We even sang Happy Birthday and cracked another brew. :)
