its the 1400 and i got it hooked up to a 15" sub that has 2 voive coils and all i get is the sound and no bass.

Is the amp set on high pass or low pass filter? If there is a setting called LPF, it should be ON.

Check your wiring, you have the 2 coils hooked up opposite of each other which is canceling the bass.
