magazine collection anyone?

Jul 30, 2003 9 Replies

I have a set of Super Ford, MMFF, and 5.0 Mustang magazines mostly from 93 and 94 that are just about destined for the garbage pile. I hate to part with them, but they've been sitting around forever, and I need to clean out some of the junk around here. Most of them are in excellent condition, a few are creased and such.

If anyone here is interested let me know quick, as they may be gone very soon. All I ask for is whoever wants them to pay shipping. Could be a few bucks, as they are a bit on the heavy side. Of course, any donations over and above wouldn't be turned down. lol

I'm in northeast Ohio, so if anyone close would want these you could even come pick them up.

what is your zip?

Just did some checking, and if I found the correct postal code, ups shipping to Victoria, BC would be about $30. Fed Ex says about $28. That's based on the 30 pounds my bathroom scale says these things weigh. Also, counted them, and there are 57 magazines total.

Could you giving me till I get back on Augest 4th? I'll take them if I have any cash left over from my trip

Thanks Scott

Sure, I'll set them off to the side, let me know when you get back.

Jason, if no one takes you up on your offer, please do me a personal favor and take them to your local Veterans hospital. Many of those guys would kill for reading material regardless of how old.

You'll reap some Cosmic Karma from the action as well. Something we all can use.

A nice idea, something that I do. There is a VA in Cheyenne, WY that I sent 10 years worth of Discover, Astronomy, Readers Digest and assorted other mags to last year. One of the nurses that moonlights up there told me last week that those mags are still circulating the floors.

As for the Cosmic Karma, well, some people get it, and some don't.....

I can hold on the them until sonic gets back, if sonic doesn't want them at that time, they are your's.

Thanks for the responses, and the other wonderful ideas. At least they will get more use instead of taking up landfill space.

I would also be interested in them if the others fall through. I'll also donate some non-Mustang books and magazines to our VA hospital in Portland one way or the other. Glad someone mentioned it.
