mustang purchase help

Hello,

I'm looking at a 1965 ivy green mustang conv. Since it is a big investment for me I'd like a get some helpful feedback. It does not have a power top, but does have a/c & pb & ps. Is it a waste to pay a premium for the AC feature in a convertible? Does the non powr top hurt resale value? What about the color, I like it myself, but should I ever wish to sell it would I be better of with a red one or is it of little difference? I'm concerned about value, as I am streching my dollars to purchase one & would feel easier to know my investment is a safe & wise one:) Lastly is there a preference to years 65, 66, Etc?

Thanks in advance.

If you are overly worried about the financial aspects of the purchase don't make it. In general cars are usually risky financial decisions at best and even worse investments. If you like it and are going to drive & enjoy it, its potential resale value should be of no concern to you unless you are grossly over paying in the first place.
