i am looking to buy a used mustang convertible

probably V6....

any general problems or reliability issues?

thanks for the comments

I didn't set out to buy a Convertible, it just kinda worked out that way!

With days like today (Low 80s, No Clouds or Humidity) make owning a Convertible an AWESOME experience!!

You see all those poor Saps in there pent-up Minivans/SUVs drooling wishing that they too own a Convertible!

I have a GT convertible and absolutely love it!

The only problem I have ('vert-wise) is that the back window leaks pretty bad and water collects in the area underneath. It eventually goes away, but where it's going, I don't know (except that sometimes the carpet is wet. :( )

I can feel the body flexing - yes I know, aftermarket subframes will help this tremendously!

Last but not least, get a V8!

Save a few $ and get the GT convert stick. There is nothing like hearing the duels with the top down while shifting thru the gears. (Well at least three gears). I could get away with staying in second in the city. When the top is up it is surprisingly quite for a rag top. I also own a 99 miata rag and the stang is quieter due to the sound material on the underside of the top. The MACH 460 system takes care of any noise anyway.

I have a 2000 mustang convt, its been very reliable and the top lets no water in. I'm thinking of selling if you are $ 10995.
