There are some 2003's (new) floating around out there. How much of a price difference should there be between one of them and a 2004 at a dealership? Does that year alone (no use) decrease the initial asking price?

It certainly does. When I was in the market for my GT back in November, I got a quote on two 03 Mach Is. Both brand new with less than 30 miles on them in Florida.
First was loaded with a manual tranny. Black. $22,900 Second was bright red with an Auto. $23,900 The red one listed for $31,000 or $32,000
Should have bought the red one, but got the 02 GT for $15K with low miles and the color I wanted. Didn't feel the need to pay the insurance on the Mach or the increased payment. It was one hell of a deal though.

------ i got one of the dealers to get me a white '03 mach 1 to 20k the '04 might be a bit expensive than the '03
