Problem with Cobra engine

Hello,I have a problem and hope somebody might help. Recently while I wasdriving my 99' Mustang Cobra, the engine died on me. I was giving itgas as i normally do, nothing too aggressive and suddenly I could feelthe was not reving and the needle slowly kept on falling eventually toa complete halt. After a couple of time trying to start it again, theengine completely died. I took it to my mechanic and he told me thecrank is jammed and the engine is very well history. I then took it toa Ford dealer and they told me the same. But unless they engine isopened, nobody is sure.Lack of experience on American cars is obvious here in Denmark, so Iwanted to ask you guys what you think.If indeed the engine is seized and needs a rebuild then my options areto buy a new engine instead, as i have my eyes on a 04' cobra engineand was told it will fit 99 mustang without problems.Another question is that if it is possible to use my 99' cobra enginein a 65-70' model mustang. Actually if I buy the 04' cobra engine, thenmy brother and I would try to fix the 99 engine and use it probably ina project car 65-70' Mustang.My apologies for the long post and appreciate any help.Thank you Spincarez

How are they to deal with and in term of workmanship. Since I am not living in the U.S. everything will be on phone or email. Before throwing that kind of money, I wanted to hear if anybody had any experience with them good or bad.

By the way the engine i'm interested in is the 04' Cobra engine with whipple supercharger. It would cost me with shipping around 16,000$. I am also open to any suggestions otherthan this one from a different source. Budget will be around the aforementioned sum. The engine should atleast produce 700hp.

This depends on how much of the engine assembly you can competently do yourself, and weather or not you have available a local machine shop that has the tools and expertise to proficiently do the machine work required to properly rebuild your engine.

Yeah sure, I will give update on the seized engine once I get work started on it. I just ordered the mcallisterbrothersracing engine and hopefully will get it by february. I don't know if it can produce 750hp as they claim but we'll see. Anybody have any idea if it can?? Anyway thanks again. Regards,

the drive train would need to be upgraded to handle the power, fuel pump, transmission, the driveshaft, the clutch, the rear end, tires, frame, flywheel, etc.

750 hp would probably take out the clutch first,
