1987 Nissan at the track performs okay

I have stock 1987 Nissan 2 seater. Took to the track for the 1st time for 2 hrs. Car has been restored with stock OEM part even stock tires size. No mods! The car is strong but cornering is a bit soft. Running mostly on 3 rd gear with 2 hair pins on 2nd gear. Tires were brand new. What I think:

1/ Suspension is a bit soft.
2/ Spinning tire on 2nd gear at hair pin a few times. (differential is not limited slip I think)
3/ Speed is good on straight away.
4/ Brake is good

I would like to look at rear/front suspension and springs. Any suggestion? I will replace throttle body with Nissan 200SX (wider throttle body as I was told)

TMC makes a nice set of springs for these cars. Coupled with KYB struts, makes a good compromise street performance setup and lowers the car a bit as well.

Useless mod from my experience, the TB isn't the restriction.
