1986 Nissan Truck - Clutch Question

"> Holding the clutch in does nothing. Unless the pedal is sitting at the upper

The good news is this morning with the help of my better half I bled the clutch lines. First from the little square box on the fire wall and the at the slave cylinder. We now have really good clutch.

I want to thank all of you good people for your help and patience with an old-timer.

I will now get on with the next problem with the truck -- but I will start another thread.

Thanks again,

JW

Sorry, I've been away.

You can probably get away with just bleeding for right this second but since you've found that old gummy fluid in item #3 below, that means that seal inside the slave cylinder is slowly, but surely leaking. There's where the fluid went. So it needs replacing before it finally goes out on you somewhere.
